Cheonggyecheon Museum was first open on September 26, 2005 designed to commemorate the restoration project of the Cheonggye Stream. The building is four stores above the ground and two stores below the ground equipped with various exhibition halls and facilities, such as cafes and garden walkways. Arriving at the museum, guests will be able to take a ride up to the fourth floor by elevator and look around the museum from top to bottom.
Here in the museum, visitors can see the surroundings of the Cheonggye Stream in 1950s~1960s including; a replicate miniature of shanty quarter, restoring process of the Cheonggye Stream in movie clips, the underground and above the ground areas before and after the restoration in models and pictures, the completed Cheonggye Stream in three-dimension movie clip, a structure model that used to connect the Cheonggye Stream well as a resting area called Eco-Cheonggye Stream.
