Geumho Park Gymnasium was built within an idle plot of land and the site of Geumho Neighborhood Park, which is located at 20, Jangteo 1-gil (Geumho-dong 3-ga) and was used as outdoor badminton courts. Created in 1976, the park saw a decrease in efficiency due to the facilities aging and the level differences of the grounds.
The gymnasium, which was built on the lower part of the park, has a rooftop that is connected to the upper part of the park, which enabled the three dimensional use of the limited park site and the creation of different types of unique spaces.
